Anker Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX - Slim Remote-Controlled Cleaner

The Anker Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX (model T2126, sold as "eufy Clean 11S MAX" in parts of Europe) is a simple, bump-and-turn robot vacuum with no Wi-Fi, no app and no map. Eufy rates suction at 2000 Pa max and noise at 55 dB, and the body is 325 x 325 x 72.5 mm, or 2.85 inches tall.

• Dust collector: 0.6 L per Eufy. Best Buy's listing says 0.26 gallon, so treat the exact figure with care.
• Battery: Eufy's page doesn't state a capacity. One spec database says 2600 mAh.
• Charging: roughly 5 to 6 hours from empty.
• Safety: drop sensors for stairs and ledges and anti-collision sensors. Navigation is bounce-style, with no mapping.

Smart home: there isn't any

Eufy's page says no Wi-Fi and no Alexa support. The remote sets the schedule, and that's the whole control surface. Don't count on a smart plug and voice assistant to start it: a plug can cut power, but it doesn't tell this robot to start cleaning. If you want routines and Home Assistant control, buy a Wi-Fi robot such as one with mapping instead.

Price and availability

Eufy's US page listed $279.99 with a Notify Me button when checked, which usually means out of stock. Best Buy listed $279.99 too, and Eufy Germany lists 179.99 euros. An undated community post mentions a $189.99 deal. The warranty is 12 months and the page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Who should buy it

A first robot vacuum for a small apartment or a single floor of mostly hard flooring and low-pile rugs, where you press a button on the remote and let it bounce around. At 2.85 inches it slides under furniture that taller lidar models can't. It's not for you if you need mapping, no-go zones, app control or an automatic empty station. It's also not a hands-free smart home device, and its reputation for being quiet comes from a single 55 dB spec, not from my ears.

How a no-map robot actually cleans

The 11S MAX navigates by bouncing. It drives until a bumper or a sensor tells it something's in the way, then turns and goes again. Eufy's page confirms bounce navigation and drop sensors for stairs and ledges, and nothing about mapping. The result is a pattern that covers a room by repetition rather than by plan, which is why a bounce-navigation robot is a slim, remote-controlled cleaner you run for its full 100 minutes, not one you expect to finish in 20.

That has consequences. It can't skip a room you don't want cleaned, because there are no rooms, only what you close a door on. It can't resume where it stopped. And you can't see what it did, since there's no app and no map to look at. For a studio flat with one open floor that's fine. For a house with three bedrooms and a hall, you'd be shutting doors every time.

Running it day to day

The remote sets the clock and the schedule, so a daily run at noon is a one-time setup. Eufy says the robot docks when the battery runs low, and a full charge takes about 5 to 6 hours. Put the base against a wall with open space in front of it. Clear cables and loose cords off the floor first, because a bump-and-turn robot can drag them along. The side brush and the dust collector are the two parts you'll touch most.

Is the 55 dB spec quiet? It's about the level of a quiet conversation by most reference charts, and Eufy's own US page prints it, so it's a published number. Whether you find it quiet depends on the floor type, and I can't tell you how it sounds on your laminate.

The honest buying checklist

Ask yourself four things. Do you have mostly hard floor or low-pile rugs? Is your floor plan open enough for a bouncing robot to cover? Are you happy with a remote instead of a phone? And is the price close to what Eufy and the big retailers list, around $280 in the US and about 180 euros in Germany? If you've said yes to all four, it's a reasonable low-effort first robot. If not, spend more on a mapping model and enjoy the app.

11S MAX against the plain 11S

Eufy's own comparison table lists 1300 Pa for the standard 11S and 2000 Pa for the MAX, and the US page showed $249.99 for the 11S against $279.99 for the MAX when I looked. So you're paying about $30 for roughly 50 percent more rated suction. Is that worth it? On low-pile carpet it probably is, because that's where BoostIQ earns its keep. On bare hardwood and tile, both would pick up crumbs equally well, and I'd save the money.
